Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation we have postponed the onsite component of January and February courses in most provinces. We will contact students soon about whether March courses will go forward as planned. Our priority is to ensure the safety of our students and instructors during this pandemic.

As soon as we can safely hold the in-person components of courses, we will. We will continue to communicate changes as information becomes available from provincial and national health authorities.

Courses have not been cancelled. The onsite components will be rescheduled. Once new dates are announced, if you are unable to attend, we will transfer you to a future offering of the course. The online components will stay open and accessible in the meantime, and we encourage students to use the time to study and practice palpation skills and location of acupuncture points and trigger points.

Because some courses build upon each other – for example, Clinical Applications in Anatomical Acupuncture (AA2) builds upon the knowledge and skills learned in the Foundations of Anatomical Acupuncture (AA1) course – when one course is postponed, it can effect the timing of the following course. Course dates listed on the website might change.

Acupuncture Canada is a not-for-profit organization and the decisions we are making are in consultation with our volunteer board of directors – a group of regulated health professionals who are also experiencing the challenges personally and professionally that this pandemic has created. Our goals are to keep students and instructors safe while offering quality skills training, and to keep the organization healthy into the future.
